I don’t love giving bad reviews but the course is in pretty bad shape. I can understand that it’s a cheapish recreation course, not Augusta. And also I know it’s the end of winter. But still. Firstly the toilet was really bad. My kid refused to use it. The greens were dire, some had big areas marked off. The signs at each hole are faded so can barely read them. And the bunkers are basically rock. On the plus side, it’s a nice layout with some fun longer holes. So it has potential.

Overall, it’s a good mashie course and a great place to start learning golf, especially if you want to play a relaxed game with your mates. The course is decent and I had a good experience overall.

The main issue for me is that it can get very busy, and unfortunately some players don’t have much respect for others on the course. If you’re a beginner and have more experienced players behind you, you can sometimes feel rushed and pressured to play faster, which takes away from the enjoyment of the game.

This was especially noticeable with some of the younger players, who can be impatient and disrespectful towards other golfers. I understand that everyone wants to enjoy their game, but a little patience and respect would go a long way.

Overall, still a good course and a good place to learn, but the behaviour of some players is what brought my rating down.

This mashie course has seen better days unfortunately. Greens are very uneven and need help with the invasive weeds. Some of the trees on the 3rd hole need cutting back desperately as they are across the fairway. Course is good just needs attention as mentioned.

Such a fun little course and a great break away from the concrete jungle. Played here twice and enjoyed it throughly both times. Will definitely be back regularly.
